Sweet `n Sassy - Niagara
My wife and I have been avid
customers of Sweet `n Sassy boutique in Niagara Falls for several years. We've
shopped for erotic/fetish gear all over southern Ontario - and always return to
Sweet `n Sassy to find items we can't find elsewhere. The owner and staff are
by far the friendliest folks we've had the pleasure of knowing...always very
helpful with an encyclopedic knowledge of the erotic/fetish scene and
community. The store itself is classy, well-stocked and a visual treat on the
eyes.
As professional and commercial bondage/fetish photographers based
in the Niagara region, we've purchased a large amount of our fetishwear and
gear from Sweet `n Sassy over the years - and we heartily recommend their
boutique. Nothing else compares.

Too tight? Of Corset is!
On a recent trip to Niagara
Falls, my boyfriend and I stopped by Sweet and Sassy. Not only did I find it to
be a very clean and well laid out shop, but there was a fine selection of
tasteful, well made and decently priced corsets, lingere, bondage equipment and
toys. I was very pleased by the layout and look of the shop, and the girl who
was working was wonderfully helpful and nice! I don't know what you were
complaining about, Vincent Price, but you're full of it!! Either that or you
live in a big enough city that has a wide selection of shops of this nature
that you can afford to be spoiled.
I stopped in a few other shops in
Niagara and those shops were your typical sleazy lingere sex shops. They were
clean, and the people working there were nice...but they were sex shops. Sweet
and Sassy had something much different, and I plan on going back there again.
Checked the above shop out very recently and was surprised at the 'boutique'
style interior.
Unfortunately, only a weak selection of 'fetish'
products were available. Mainly the shop specialized in typical sexual aids and
sleazy lingerie.
The 'educated' shop keeper informed me that since
'goth was definitely out' she wouldn't be carrying any more lip service.
However she did have a lovely array of parasols.
Sadly, I believe
that to be my last visit. Not much to see at all.

I
have been shopping at Sweet & Sassy for over a year now, on a regular
basis. The staff are very goth-friendly and personal friends of mine. They
carry some excellent PVC pieces as well as leather. Yes, there might be some
sleazy lingerie, but who cares? They're always trying to keep up to date on
what the customers want, for example, carrying a new line of fetish boots and
shoes. Prices are reasonable, less than Toronto, in most cases. Please give
them a try.

Well, in reading Mr. Price's review, I felt I should comment. As
the sole employee at Sweet & Sassy I feel it only fair to add my part.
My employer would be the woman Mr. Price spoke to, Melynda Smith. She
hired me over a year ago requesting me to dress how I do every other day. She
likes gothic attire, however (and this is where she may have been
misunderstood) in the Niagara Falls area there is not a great demand for it.
She can't afford to fill the store with (...) any more when she is required to
order at least three of each design and she still has several designs left over
from her first (..) order almost two years ago. She does what she can to order
more gothic styles but also has to fill the store with the stuff that does
sell, all high quality merchandise.
As for Lip Service, we will be
carrying some of their clothing, though we have not previously.
To
top it all off, we get new and different stuff in weekly and we do special
orders, including custom made orders, you design it, we have it made. My own
wedding dress will be ordered through Sweet & Sassy based on my design and
I will gladly post pictures of the final product on my website from my wedding
in 2003.
Best Shop & Selection I've Ever Seen. Owner Told Me They
Bought Big Old House On Lundys Lane...Next Summer Will Be The Talk Of The Town!

Sweet &
Sassy is the most amazing shop I've ever been in. The 2 lovely ladys who work
there are great! This is not a Goth or SEX shop its as the name states an
Exotic Boutique! The owner is a every open and educated lady,who will bend over
backwards to make her customers happy. You can't find that anywere these days.
When in Niagara you most stop in her shop as you never know what you'll find!
I'm always surprised! I rate this shop A+
