On Tuesday September the 26th the world lost one of the most
promising upcoming film actors/directors in Canada. Kevin Simmons
(actor/director of Love Bites: Chloes Story) was involved in a horrible
motorcycle accident which proved fatal.
Everyone at the Seventh Circle
was taken aback by the news. All of us in one way or another were involved with
the movie and were close friends with Kevin. He was even one of our specialists
for camerawork and sound for interviews with bands. I had only been in Toronto
a short time and Kevin had already became a close friend of mine...which for
people that know me should realize that I don't hold that many people close.
Kevin was an unbelievable human being. He saw a gap in the movie
industry on supporting the up and coming people and he wanted to fill that gap.
He was friendly, passionate, and extremely bright, which is one of the main
reasons that the Seventh Circle/Discordia Productions and I had become involved
with the movie. That passion is rare in people nowadays and even less supported
by mass media. We all will miss him greatly and our condolences go to his
family and his friends.
Sincerely, Casey"Sparrow"Blakeney The
