Friday March 3rd: Superhalo
Superhalo, Bionic and Bad Blood playing at the Rivoli (Queen Street West). This is a show in association with the Canadian Music Week Festival, and starts at 12:30am.


Monday March 6th: Shadowplay
Free concert at the Velvet Underground (510 Queen Street West), presented in conjunction with dIE! J Mars' Evol Mondays club night.  No cover charge, This is a 19+ only event.


Saturday March 11th: The Masque of February
DJs Mars and Lazarus at Clinton's Tavern (693 Bloor Street West).  Cover charge of $5, doors at 10pm.   This is a 19+ only event.  The Masque is a monthly event sponsored by the DJs and Siren.


Monday March 13th: The Widening Gyre
Free concert at the Velvet Underground (510 Queen Street West), presented in conjunction with dIE! J Mars' Evol Mondays club night.  No cover charge, This is a 19+ only event.


Wednesday March 15th: Vegasphere, Fade Station and Bitter Fall
Playing at Lee's Palace (529 Bloor street west). Ticket information and times is still TBA. This is a 19+ event. Side Note: Vegasphere's new, as yet untitled CD *may* be ready for this show, but don't count on it - expected release is late March / early April.


Thursday March 16th: Gitane Demone, Parade & Mara's Torment
At the Kathedral (651 Queen Street West, at Bathurst), in support of Demone's new album "Stars of Trash". Tickets will be available through Siren, Rotate this and Record Peddlar.  This is a 19+ event, contact Greg Clow for further details - Ticket price will be posted as soon as possible, this show is presented by Stained Productions and Inertia Entertainment.


Friday March 17th: Friday Night Lives Opening Night
Mars' new Friday night spot at Bauhaus (31 Mercer Street, off of John Street south of King).  DJs Mars and Jay spin electronic alternative sounds.  No cover, contact 416.729.7546 for details.


Friday March 17th: Peter Murphy in Concert
. . . with Mercan Dede at the Guvernment (132 Queen's Quay East, at Jarvis). This is an *early* show - doors at 6pm, opening act onstage at 7:30pm. Tickets through Siren, Rotate This, Sonic Temple and Ticket Master - $22 each.


Saturday March 18th: Siren Fetish Masquerade
At the Reverb (651 Queen Street West, at Bathurst).   This month's theme: "Malice in Wonderland", with DJs Phink and Lazarus spinning through the night.  $6 with pass, $8 without, $5 with pin or dressed as a "Kinky Fairy Tale Character".  This is a 19+ only event Doors open at 10pm, $2.50 drink specials before 11pm.


Monday March 20th: Evol Monday's 3rd Anniversary Party
"Something Crazy is going to happen - lots of surprises", or at least that's what the flyer says...  At the Velvet Underground (510 Queen Street West). No cover charge, This is a 19+ only event.


Thursday March 23rd: The Music of Coil (Re-Scheduled)
DJs Greg Clow and Chris Twomey present six hours of music by Coil and related projects, including lots of remixes and rarities at Holy Joes (651 Queen Street West, at Bathurst). Tickets are $5.  This is a 19+ event, contact Greg Clow for further details. This show is the first in a series presented by Stained Productions spotlighting selected artists.


Saturday March 25th: Smiths / Morrissey Fest
DJ Lazarus promotes this night at the Rokit Club (120 Church Street, at Richmond).  Cover is $4 before 11pm, $6 after - doors open at 10pm. This is a 19+ only Event.  There will be prizes in a Morrissey look-a-like contest, with both male and female categories (and that frightens me).


Monday March 27th: Rhea's Pre-release Listening Party
At the Velvet Underground (510 Queen Street West), presented in conjunction with dIE! J Mars' Evol Mondays club night.  No cover charge, This is a 19+ only event.


Friday March 31st: Chocolate Grinder
Playing with Dream Corrosion and the Walls of Jericho at Clinton's (693 Bloor Street West).  Doors open at 9pm, tickets $4 at the door.


Friday March 31st: Rhea's Obsession & RedHotRed (Re-Scheduled)
Playing at Lee's Palace (529 Bloor Street West), with DJ Leslie spinning between sets.  This is a CD release party for Rhea's new album "Between Earth and Sky" on Metropolis Records, with giveaways of this and other albums from  Cleopatra, Nettwerk, Metropolis, and even K-Tel records throughout the night...  Doors open at 8pm, tickets $5 in advance or $10 at the door, on sale as of Wednesday March 1st at Siren and CD Replay. Admission is free if you're wearing an "Earth and/or Sky" themed costume, with prizes going to the best costume.
