Hells Belles 5th Anniversary Party at the Bovine Sex Club (542 Queen St. West, 416.504.4239). Killer Elite and 2-Pump Louie play live. Special tricks and treats. The Magic and Mayhem of Circus Jonathan and of course your favorite local femme fatales: Dj Shannon spinning the sounds of evil and. Deanna pouring the devils milk No Cover, doors open at 9pm. Saturday March 10th: Deep Sea Fish presents High Tide

Deep Sea Fish presents High Tide with UK DJ/Producer Dino Psaras plus dam, John Dee, Psi-kotec, and Phink at The Opera House (735 QueenE). Doors open @ 10pm, admission can be purchased there for $10 before 12 and more after. Dino Psaras is one of the UKs most sought after trance DJ/Producer. Has done remixes for Paul Oakenfold, and Front Line Assembly to name a few. EBM presents a CIUT 89.5 FM Fundraiser Event: Tektronic, a night of psytrance/hard techno grooves featuring Live PA with: Pendragon Recording artist Neutronic (San Francisco): psy trance/hard techno, Noitekk Recording artist Weave(K-W): techno-industrial with guest DJs: EBM (CIUT 89.5FM), Crooked Chemist, D-Primitive (rewind crew.com) spinning trance/techno/noise/jungle. Wednesday March 14th: Salon de Kink Fetish Night

The Salon De Kink is hosting a Fetish Party tonight at the Velvet Underground. DJ Jay spins goth / industrial. Cover is $8 at the door in fetish / goth wear, $6 with the flyer (available at Suspect Video, Come As You Are, Heretic, Adults Only Video, He & She Clothing, Seduction, and Northbound Leather), and $15 in street wear.

 

Friday March 16th: Henry Rollins speaks

Henry Rollins spoken-word performance at Convocation Hall. Tickets are on sale now for 19.50-25.50 from Ticketmaster.

 

Saturday March 17th: Reverb fetish party

A Gothic industrial kinky glamour party with DJs Lazarus and Phink spinning goth and trash until 3am at the Reverb (651 Queen Street West, at Bathurst). This months theme: Ancient Rome: when in Rome, do as the Romans do. Doors open at 10pm, $2.50 drinks before 11pm. Cover $5 with pin or dressed in theme, or $6 with pass (which you can pick up at Siren) or $8 otherwise. This is a 19+ only event and there is a strict fetish dress code in effect.

 

Monday March 19th: Day of the Dead

Day of the Dead at the Anarchists Cocktail: art, poetry, acoustic performers, spoken word, and DJ. Doors open at 9pm and there is a $5 cover.

 

Wednesday March 21st: Event Horizon: Where Memories And Imagination Meet

Thursday March 29th: Kaufman Lecture

Troma President Lloyd (The Toxic Avenger) Kaufman will be lecturing on independent filmmaking and the history of Troma Entertainment at the University of Toronto's Emmanuel College (75 Queen's Park) from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, courtesy of Innis College's Film Studies Student Union (CINSSU). Lloyd Kaufman's video and book signings at Toronto's HMV (Yonge St.) on March 30th (tentatively scheduled between 5:00 and 7:00 pm) and at Toronto's Hollywood Canteen on March 31 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm (1516 Danforth Avenue).

 

Saturday March 31st: A Tromatic Blitz

Rue Morgue brings Troma President Lloyd (The Toxic Avenger) Kaufman to Toronto for the Canadian Premiere of Terror Firmer at the Bloor Cinema, Saturday March 31 at 9:30 pm. See March 29th listing for info on a lecture by Kaufman.
