Fri. Feb. 1st: Headscan and Netz CD release Party

With DJ M @ Savage Garden, 550 Queen St. W.. HEADSCAN + NETZ SHAPER AND MECHANIST + WERK02 CD RELEASE PARTY. Headscan fuses hard techno rhythms to powerful trance patterns and a smooth electronic sheen. Netz is ntelligent technoid with potent german vocals and delicious samples.

Tues. Feb. 5th: Ambient Ping *new*

Ambient Ping, Toronto's long running and world famous ambient-electronic weekly night, takes place at club nia at C'est What, 19 Church St. Tonight features Sarah Peebles and DJ Greg Clow vs DJ strangeangel23 . No cover - doors open at 9 PM - 19+ only. www.theambientping.com


Thurs. Feb. 7th: Brave New World

Brave New World is a new monthly night at Limelight (250 Adelaide St. W). Doors open @ 10pm and it is 19+ event. Featuring Past and Present Electro Music. $5 cover or free b4 11:30 w/pass, guys $3 after with pass, gals $2 after with pass. Thurs. Feb. 7th: Vampire Beach Babes *new*

Vampire Beach Babe welcome you to a Showcase Performance @ The Velvet Underground 508 Queen Street W. 30 minute command showcase 10:00 pm (sharp). 8:30 - Doors Open (no cover). 9:00 - Daniel Richler will open the night with a special screening of Book Television's hilarious Gothic-gameshow-parody episode 'Reach for the Crypt'. Fri. Feb. 8th: Blank CD release Party *new*

With DJ M @ Savage Garden, 550 Queen St. W. Blank Brain Trigger CD release party. With E.B.M. [Electro Body Music] as a major influence, and paying a lot of attention to the dancefloor, the Italian BLANK mixes together intense atmosphere and angry beats.


Sat. Feb. 9th: Perdition

Join us on Saturday, February 9th for the show at the Vatikan. Toronto based Perdition will rattle your head off your shoulders with a refreshingly cool sound of fantastic synth sequences, coupled with driving guitars and hard-hitting vocals. The show starts at 10:30 and tickets are a mere $5 at the door (doorprizes and giveaways!!). Tickets will go fast so come early! Perdition will also be releasing their new cd 'nothing else remains.' Northbound Leather's Fetish Fantasy Party @ the Limelight (250 Richmond Street West ). What's *your* iSM?? Third Thursday of each month. Tonight is a special 12th Anniversary and Valentine's Day Event! Techno, elecrtronica, and alternative. Beat out in the 'Pound' where all can join the dance. Valentines Day -- a mushy gushy Hallmark holiday enjoyed by those lovers out there. Screw that. Who the hell cares about that cupid dude. Sound a little harsh well that's what its all about. Fri. Feb. 15th: Apoptygma Berzerk CD release Party

With DJ M @ Savage Garden, 550 Queen St. W. Apoptygma Berzerk's new CD Harmonizer release party. Apoptygma Berzerk have returned to re-enforce their dominance in 2002. Their newest album, Harmonizer, is a BPM marvel. Thick, full electronic textures adhere to persuasive beats, which enable one to loose themselves within Stephan Groth’s lyrics and vocals. Electro, synth-pop, trance, and EBM sounds are melted and blended together to form a harmony unlike no other. Harmonizer will open eyes to a whole new world of music.

Sat. Feb. 16th: Sin Saturday's with Dj bOLT and nadX

Sin Saturday's every second Saturday of the month at the Vatikan. Join us on February 16th for the first night of this regular event. This is a dress-up party for the freaky and fun. Break out your formal PVC, capes and fangs and leave home your high-tops, baseball hats and hockey jersey's. Pretty people can win some of the cool prizes that will be given away at every event.
