Wed. Jan. 2nd: Event Horizon new night

Event Horizon is gearing up for its move from Tuesdays to Wednesdays on January 3, 2002 with a special guest appearance with DJ Bio (Bio-Vital\Soth). Bio has his ear to the ground better than most, and he's got the library to show for it because of his German contacts. This means you'll be treated to great new Euro-only EBM, industrial and synth. You'll also hear plenty of your faves all night long. Velvet Underground, 510 Queen St. W.


Thurs. Jan. 3rd: Brave New World

Post New Years" Bash!!! There will be New Years Decor, promo From "Apple Sour" Liqueur. Brave New World is a new monthly night at Limelight (250 Adelaide St. W). Doors open @ 10pm and it is 19+ event. Featuring Past and Present Electro Music. $5 cover or free b4 11:30 w/pass, guys $3 after with pass, gals $2 after with pass. New Thursday night @ Temple (469 King St W. just west of Spadina and down the alley; look for the glowing red cross and the building with the gargoyles on top) ALT.Electronic music (stuff like cleen, haujobb, g.numan, ravenous, fictional, T.O.Y., cool retro and cool requests.). With DJ Lazarus. No cover.

If slapping on the leather and cruising the highway on your favourite two-wheeler is how you like to spend your Sunday mornings, you just might want to check out this motorcycle show. At the international centre (6900 Airport Rd. Mississauga). Fri-Sun, 10am-10pm (6pm on Sun). Adults $12, children $5.

Northbound Leather's Fetish Fantasy Party @ the Limelight (250 Richmond Street West ). What's *your* iSM?? Third Thursday of each month. Techno, elecrtronica, and alternative. Beat out in the 'Pound' where all can join the dance. The 'Inner Circle' is where the very impressive perves are to be found in all their fetish finery. The 'Player's Lounge' occupies the 3rd floor, full of stocks, locks and shackles. Phink,Jimi Lamort and Fluffy. Dress code in effect, denim & athletic wear not permitted. "Heaven and Hell" A Gothic, Industrial Kinky Party with DJ Lazurus, Phink, and DJ Darq spinning Darkwave, EBM, Industrial, and old school Goth 10pm to 3:30am at The Reverb, 651 Queen Street West Toronto. TRE'LUX (Tina Root of SWITCHBLADE SYMPHONY) at LA SALA ROSSA 4848 St-Laurent, MONTREAL, QC. Tickets are 18$ advance & 20$ door. Rue Morgue presents a special exclusive screening of "Battle Royale" @ Vatikan (1032 Queen St. W.) at 8pm. Possible second showing at midight. Find out why Battle Royale has made headlines around the world - a particularly cruel and violent combination of reality television and Lord of the Flies. Admission is free - cash menu & bar.
