Savage Garden is host tonight to the release party of Perdition's newest album, "Down Beneath The Skin" See http://www.perdition.com Revolution happens on the first Saturday every month. Fri. Nov. 7th: David Cronenberg lecture @ Ryerson

famed Canadian dark-film Director David Cronenberg will be doing a lecture at Ryerson University as part of an ongoing series sponsored by KODAK. Lecture presentations start at 7:30pm and generally last under 1 hour with Q&A;afterwards. Held in the Lecture hall L-72 of Jourgenson Hall (Gould & Victoria Sts.) ryersonlectures.ca


Fri. Nov. 7th: Weave CD release

Weave releases the Fraktal EP, which will include the video for While I Bern Their Bodies Kleen, as well as remixes by Epsilon Minus and Slipshod. Weave plays live very early in the night, and then a regular club dj night follows. This event will also be a promotional night for the comic book Elsinore by Kenneth Lillie~Paetz and Brian Denham. A hollywood-style black-tie affair at the Toronto Centre for the Arts. Premier of a documentary narrated by David Duchovny (Mulder, from the X-FILES). The film is entitled, "BEST FRIEND FORGOTTEN". It's black tie, so dress to impress! It discusses the issue of pet overpopulation, and you will have time to go to their silent auction, schmooze with local philanthropists, and see front line animal rescue workers at their display tables.
