dissent. nightclub - now closed

toronto-goth.com learned on May 11th 2006 that Dissent. Nightclub, located at 210 Dundas Street in London had closed its doors.

The closing of this popular London nightclub came as a surprise to many people.

Cameron MacDonald aka DJ Albedo, who was the manager of Dissent. would like to thank everyone who ever came out to support the club.

The possibility of Dissent. opening it's doors in another location has not been ruled out, however, no immediate plans are in place.

Open since June of 2004, the dissent. club was London's primary venue for all types of music and bands that fall outside the mainstream. Bands that hit the stage at Dissent. included The Birthday Massacre, Imperative Reaction, Seraphim Shock and many more.

Please visit the livejournal community at username dissentlondon for further information about the club and its closing.

The website for Dissent. can be found at www.dissentlondon.com.
