toronto-goth.com learned on May 11th 2006 that Dissent. Nightclub,
located at 210 Dundas Street in London had closed its doors.
The
closing of this popular London nightclub came as a surprise to many
people.
Cameron MacDonald aka DJ Albedo, who was the manager of Dissent.
would like to thank everyone who ever came out to support the club.
The
possibility of Dissent. opening it's doors in another location has not been
ruled out, however, no immediate plans are in place.
Open since June of
2004, the dissent. club was London's primary venue for all types of music and
bands that fall outside the mainstream. Bands that hit the stage at Dissent.
included The Birthday Massacre, Imperative Reaction, Seraphim Shock and many
more.
