Toronto-Goth.com offers several economic methods of advertising your organization, band or event on the internet, ranging from sponsorship programs to static and cyclical banner ads to feature websites created just for you! As a community based, not for profit organization all of our advertising rates are very competitive, and all funds received are re-invested into the website and its related activities. Thus, all advertising money is considered a donation. If you would like to donate to the site without advertising your organization, we welcome you to do so as well.

In addition, we offer a number of special trade programs in which you can exchange products or services to the Toronto-Goth administration in return for advertising. Products and/or services exchanged may be used in promotional giveaways from the site - increasing our own traffic, which increases yours! Exchanges are worked out on a transaction by transaction basis, but follow the general rule that $1.25 worth of your merchandise is worth $1 of services offered by Toronto-Goth.com - so a gift certificate at your shop for $25 will earn you $20 worth of the services listed below.

The first and easiest type of banner ad program is the Cyclical banner Ad service, in which your banner ad is inserted into a rotation of 5-10 banners that are shown on pages of Toronto-Goth.com in the top right hand side. Cyclical Banner ads are purchased by the month, and since there is only a limited number of spots available in the rotation they tend to fill up fast. The cyclical banner ads do not have to start on the 1st of the month; they can start on any day you like.
Web banners on the Toronto-Goth.com are standard 468 pixels wide x 60 pixels tall .GIF or .JPG files, and should not be more then 15-20K in size (the smaller the better!). All of our banners work as links to the site they are advertising, giving guests a direct link to your website.

Rate varies depending on location. The Static banner ad is a great way of focusing your marketing dollars on your target audience. It entails a strategic placement of your banner on a page of your choice. For example, if you were promoting a concert you may want to place a banner on the events listing page, so that everyone looking at the local events listings will see your ad. Prices for static banners are based on the amount of traffic each page generates, and as such are priced according to the page your wish to place them on. Feature Websites are single page "webvertisements" custom made for your product, service or event. They're a great way of getting your name on the web if you don't already have a website - and if you do, they provide a perfect introduction to your website for the denizens of Toronto-Goth.com. The Feature website can be hosted on our servers, and can include almost any information you wish.

Sponsorship Programs are long term (6+ months), custom designed partnerships between Toronto-Goth.com and other organizations in the community that involve cross promotional activities and services.
